Is anyone fishing out there, I hear there are some large burbot out there, and if there is a chance I would love to eat some oof these tasty freshwater cod.  I hve also heard there might be some large trout in there from a forgot about stocking program. Any info would help.

Well, I can't offer any info on the burbot out there but I have caught a few at Snipe. I fried one up a few weeks ago and it tasted great!

Interesting lake for sure.  Good camping but I think the fishing is slow.  But that does not always matter.  Take a look at this older book.  It has a good write up on a few local lakes.

I've heard that there used to be a Burbot ice fishing tourney out there.  I"ve also heard that the lake was netted a while ago and there were some monsters in there.  These are just things I've heard mind you, F&W might know for sure.
