Alrighty Than, I'll give it a try tomorrow, blind as a bat and see how it go's. It'll be nice to get on the river even if I don't catch anything.

I have a friend that has fished the Peace River in BC.  It was closer to Hudsons Hope, I don't know how far that is from Taylor.  If it's close, he said there were Trout, Grayling, Walleye, Pike and Burbot in the areas he fished.  Probably won't help much, but be prepared to go after different species throughout the day.

Thanks Cory, Did get out on the Peace yesterday. Found some nice holes and drop offs but the only thing we caught all day was Bull Trout (one 6lb.) but it would have been nice to find some Walleye or Burbot. Maybe it was just to early.

i grew up fishing the peace river. not in taylor but in the town of peace. its not unsualo to go out for an evening and catch 10 different species of fish.  i went fishing there last friday. i got a few good bites on a clouser minnow, and an olive leech, but i couldnt seem to get a proper hook set. i got frustrated and started using a pickeral rig. managed to catch 3 decent burbot and 2 nice goldeye.
