its 4am and i just pulled into the driveway , after a lousy fishing trip to Snipe . Fished on the north end with everything i had with me from tight line , spoons , jigs and even tried out fly fishing , but only landed a small pike ( maybe a pound ) and my buddy the same(both fish off the dock with a yellow jig ). Sure can use some info and help for the next time im out there as this was my very first time fishing Snipe. I even had my new pontoon boat out and was trolling the weed beds to the east of the dock with not a signal hit. Certainly would be thankful for anyone to either come with me next time i go or at least point me in the right direction of best spots and right lures. By the way i'm a virgin walleye fisher and would love to catch a few before i die  lol

I've only been there once this year and had great luck with Wildeye Live perch & walleye. Started to get a bit expensive when they chewed all the tails off though

I have been told that this can happen at this lake.  One day great the next day poor.  Hit it up once in may it was great!  Will have to try again soon to get the poor out of the system  lololo

Was out there Friday afternoon, it was on fire.

Nice mix bag of Walleye and Pike....only a couple decent sized ones but we caught close to 50 fish in 3 hours before a storm blew in.

Seems the storm followed me home....getting some nasty t-storms and hail north of sexsmith.
