I've heard good things, so I've ordered one as well. How long did yours take to come in?

I believe mine showed up on my doorstep in 7 days or so.

I obviously should have got some simmonette tips from you at your place this week, did you get your truck booked in?

Mine was here in 5 days, so that was great. Took me a second to figure out who you were with that nice perch in front of your face. I'm getting the light put in on my Cruiser on Tuesday, then the rest done at the end of January.

Have you used your tent yet? I've been pretty impressed with mine. The window plastic is garbage (real brittle when cold, one of mine was ripped when I got it and a second ripped first time out, but other than that I think it's a great tent for the price. Even with 2 guys fishing, I'm glad I went with the big tent. You can keep all the gear inside (I just put it over top of my sled) so you don't have to lose your heat every time you want to get something.

As far as the Simonette goes, once the water gets low and clear it's just a matter of working the pools and log jams. I love canoeing down in the fall because once the water is low, you have the whole river to yourself. I got my bull elk while fishing that way last year.
