I really want to go spring fishing when there just a bit of the shores showing on the lake. But i dont get out enoughf to know when the Ice comes off so if ppl could let me know or give my an Idea when to expect this

I was out at Sturgeon lake on monday and there were people still ice fishing! I'm guessing it will be a few weeks until we see water although the weather calls for double digits this weekend so that may change. I'm iching to get out there just as bad as you! there's nothing like spring fishing. If anyone else has an update please post it!

I have to agree with you - nothing beats Spring Fishing !!!   I can hardly wait to get to Alberta and hit the northern lakes !!!

Alright so I went to swan on Saturday and If you wanted to you Can cast but we ended up Ice fishing and Cuaght 5 nice size rainbows... but there all full of the parasite. then we went to sturgeron and ended up Ice fishing caught one pike. but that iCE IS GETTING BAD should be off soon enoughf
