The fishing was awesome. Coho were just coming in but we had to get back. We fish off the gravel bars as only have a lake boat, not river boat. Awesome spot at Copper River and another unnamed spot about 40 km past Terrace. 4x4 helps to access the gravel bars but pretty tame. We are new to the Skeena as well but had quite a bit of success with spin and glows with roe. When the salmon are running there is not much problem getting your daily quota. Biggest catch was about 30-35 lb chum but had to put it back as release only. Lots of fly fishing going on. Probaby more fly fishing off the gravel bars than casting. Awesome country.
